The Egyptian Medicines Authority stressed the importance of following the doctor's or pharmacist's instructions regarding the use of medicines and pharmaceutical preparations. It also recommends consulting the pharmacist in everything related to the safe and sound way to use the drug, as the pharmacist is the first expert in safe ways to use the drug. And the drug authority added, it is necessary to check the expiry date of the drug written on the package or strip to know the period during which the drug remains with the same effectiveness and the required specifications. The Medicines Authority clarified that the medicine must be stored properly, asking citizens to check the validity of the medicine before taking it, and not to take a medicine after its expiry date.
